Terms of Service
FIRECalculatorHQ ("we", "us", "the site") provides free online financial calculators and optional paid digital products (e-books, guides, and worksheets). By using this site or purchasing a product, you agree to these terms.
Educational use only — not financial advice
All calculators, articles, and digital products on this site are for general educational and informational purposes only. They do not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and no client or fiduciary relationship is created by your use of them. Investment returns are not guaranteed and past performance does not predict future results. You are solely responsible for your own financial decisions and should consult a qualified, licensed professional before acting on any information found here.
Calculator results
The calculators use simplified models (for example the 4% rule and the Trinity Study). Results are estimates based on the numbers you enter and assumptions that may not match your situation. We make no warranty that any result is accurate, complete, or suitable for your circumstances.
Digital products and payment
Paid digital products are sold and delivered as downloadable files. Purchases are processed by our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy (Sold through Link, LLC), who handles payment, billing, and applicable sales tax/VAT. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's own terms at checkout. After a successful payment you receive immediate access to download the product.
Intellectual property
All content, calculators, and digital products are owned by FIRECalculatorHQ unless otherwise stated. When you buy a digital product you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for your own purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, or republish the files without written permission.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FIRECalculatorHQ is not liable for any loss or damage — including financial loss — arising from your use of the calculators, content, or digital products. The site and products are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Changes & governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
Privacy Policy
We keep data collection to a minimum and we do not sell your personal data.
What the calculators collect
The calculators run entirely in your browser. The figures you type (age, income, spending, investments, and so on) are processed locally on your device and are not sent to or stored on our servers. When you use the "share scenario" feature, your inputs are encoded into the link you choose to copy — nothing is transmitted to us.
Analytics
We use privacy-friendly, aggregate web analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand overall traffic. This does not use cookies and does not track or identify individual visitors.
Purchases and email
If you buy a digital product, our Merchant of Record (Lemon Squeezy) collects the information needed to process your payment and deliver your purchase, under their own privacy policy. If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we store your email address with our email provider (Beehiiv) solely to send you the content you signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you (for example your newsletter subscription) by contacting us at the address below. We respond to legitimate requests in line with applicable data-protection law, including the GDPR.

Refund Policy
Our digital products are delivered as instant downloads, so they are generally treated as final sales. That said, we stand behind what we sell.
- 14-day guarantee. If a product doesn't deliver what the sales page promised, email us within 14 days of purchase and we'll make it right or refund you.
- Technical problems. If your download fails or the file is corrupted, contact us and we'll resend it or issue a refund.
- How to request. Email jonaseriksenofficial@gmail.com with your order number (from your Lemon Squeezy receipt). Refunds are processed back to your original payment method by Lemon Squeezy.
By the nature of downloadable digital goods, we may decline refunds where there is clear evidence the product has been fully downloaded and the request appears abusive.
